The Hardest Part About Blogging

As bloggers, we all have our own opinions about what exactly is the most difficult part about blogging. One thing we all can agree on though is that blogging is not a walk in the park. It may be easy to just start a blog on the spot (I would know since I did), but the difficult part about it is keeping it going and not getting unmotivated, especially if you’re serious about it.

The hardest part for me about blogging is finding things to talk about. I always knew that I didn’t have a lot to talk about. I just had my thoughts and opinions on different topics. Problem is, when you’ve talked about them all then what do you do? When you run out of products to discuss/review, tips you could provide, poems to post, etc…what do you do? What about when the topic ideas you first thought would be great to write about when you wrote them down don’t seem so great anymore when it’s time to go through them? You’re left stumped and sometimes unmotivated. Sometimes you write those posts just to have something down.

It’s so hard to keep ideas flowing sometimes that I gotta go to Google for a little inspiration. I’m finding it important to make a day just specifically to write down blog post ideas (which I need to start doing) for the week or even the month. Regardless of how hard it is, I still manage to find SOMETHING. Like now, I let my struggle become my motivation and now I have not only this blog post that you’re currently reading, but a blog post that I feel bloggers, YouTubers, and honestly anyone can relate to. You can replace the title with any subject or profession, but no matter what it is, don’t let the hard part bring you down but motive you.

  1. Thanks for sharing, I love how you’re sharing some of the difficulties bloggers face. What is one of your best tips for new bloggers?

    • I think one of my best tips is to have fun and write what you enjoy! If you don’t enjoy it, then you’re not going to want to keep going and it’ll quickly become something you’ll be doing for others and not yourself. Thanks for reading love ♥

  2. 🙂 We human beings are creative by nature; therefore, it is almost impossible to run out of things to blog about.

Luckily for me, my subconscious mind always deliver!

  3. All of the above plus I’m writing 2 books…burning the candle at both ends! But taking a break is a great way to get the creative juices flowing again, at least that usually works for me. When I post, I post. That’s how I look at it and I really don’t want to feel pressured either to be locked into a box as far as writing on one particular subject. If I were doing this for coins then that would be different! Try not to stress about something that should be fun or therapeutic…

  4. The hardest part about blogging for me is being consistent as well as overthinking a blog once I finally find the motivation to write one. I work full-time and I don’t have a consistent schedule so it’s hard to steadily post.

    • I definitely understand trying to balance both. It was hard when I was balancing school and blogging. We’re the same when it comes to overthinking. I tend to do that sometimes as well. You just gotta get a blog post out when you can and do your best!

  5. The hardest part of blogging for me is finding things to write about when I’m in such a depressive state. When I feel , as I do at the moment, I have no motivation to do anything. I barely have the motivation to read blogs. Typically for me this state lasts for months a time. I’m currently trying to figure out how to fight this. I believe I will get there though.

    • I relate to this as well. Especially when it comes to reading others blogs. I somehow still pull through when it comes to writing, but I don’t always love what I wrote in that moment. I know you will get through boo. It’s tough, but you’ll beat this ♥
