September 2022 Monthly Update: Call Me The Fitness Queen

The season that a lot of people have been waiting for is officially here…spooky season! This also means that we only have two months left in the year. I can’t even fathom all of the things that still need to be done before 2023 comes in! Until then, I will do my best to focus on the now by keeping my mind focused on only the goals I have for the current month. With that being said, before I get into my October goals, it’s time to check in with my September goals and find out what I was able to get done.

Workout at least 3x/week. If you’re on TikTok, you might have seen a fitness product going around called a hula hoop. Of course, when you think of a hula hoop, your mind goes to the usual one that you’ve grown up with. Well, this one is different! This hula hoop is weighted with links that you link together around your waist. Instead of spinning the hoop like you would a regular hula hoop, there’s a weight that you have to keep moving instead. I decided to purchase it, and although I almost sent it back because I couldn’t figure it out (maybe not knowing how to hula hoop was a factor), I eventually figured it out and have been working my way up to using it the recommended thirty minutes. I haven’t used it every single day, but I have used it most days. I’m so proud of myself for accomplishing this goal! I may not exactly be the fitness queen just yet, but the title of the post is my way of speaking it into existence!

Continue working on morning routine. I’ve still continued to work on my morning routine and I know that I will have it down eventually. I know what I want my mornings to look like, now all I have to do is keep putting in the work to get there.

Do Sunday self check-ins. I got the idea for Sunday self check-ins from a couple that I watch on Youtube called Josh and Isi. They do a couple version of Sunday check-ins with each other where they ask each other how they’re doing emotionally, mentally, physically, financially, and spiritually. I loved this idea and I thought that I would give it a try. Work still needs to be done when it comes to doing this every Sunday, but I am off to a good start!

I’m so proud of myself for accomplishing the things that I did in September, and I’m ready to make even greater accomplishments in October. Let’s see what I plan for the month to look like!

Blog/Business
  • Plan a photoshoot
  • Update my media kit
  • Start on Blogmas posts
  • Work on plans for 2023
Personal
  • Get out of the house a little more
  • Practice being in bed by 12am-12:30am

Sometimes, there is nothing scarier than the thought of not being able to accomplish your goals, but I believe that October will be a great month for myself and you as well!

What are your goals for October?
