It’s sad to see that I’m making another post in the same year.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I made a post called Protect Our Black Girls at the beginning of this year. To sum it up, I discussed the R. Kelly documentary and everything he’s been doing to those young black girls and women. This post is different. This time I’m not discussing R.Kelly.
This time, I’m discussing the kidnappings of our little children and although all kidnappings are important, I really want to focus on the kidnappings of our young black children. I wasn’t planning on making this post, but when I saw on Facebook about this little girl, nicknamed Cupcake, who was kidnapped from a birthday party and murdered. I won’t give the gruesome details, but you can go online and read about it if you like. This isn’t the first time hearing about a little black girl being kidnapped. Some of them end up making it out alive and back to their parents, but sadly there are more that don’t. It wasn’t too long before hearing about another little black being kidnapped before I heard about this one.
There are two notes that I just want to make with this post.
The first note is just about the craziness of these kidnappings. There are so many crazy people in this world and they’re after the most helpless ones of all…our little children. Not only that, they’re after the ones that seem to be the most targeted…our little black boys and girls. It’s so easy for them to get taken up and for anything to happen to them. Little innocent children that don’t want to do anything in this world but be children. They want a normal life and a safe one just like we do as adults, but they rely on adults for that and it’s the ones they’re supposed to rely on that are hurting them.
The second note is moreso a call to action. Please protect these children. Especially watch out for the ones that are being targeted the most. There was a little girl at my job that lost her grandmother. She was crying to one of my coworkers and it broke my heart. Luckily, my coworker was able to help reunite them, but it could’ve been a totally different case. I don’t have kids of my own or anywhere near in a mindset of wanting any, but you don’t have to have kids or want them to care about them. We have to do a better job of looking out for them, whether their yours or not. People are working hard to take them and we cannot let that happen.
What is your opinion on this topic? Let’s discuss!
