June 2021 Monthly Update: Something Has To Change

I had a thought earlier this week and my thought was simple: something has to change. Though the thought was simple, the action of doing so is not so simple. When I say something has to change, I mean with my life…personal and business. When I was stating this though, I was mostly thinking of business/blog wise. I feel as though I’m in a plateau currently that, at the very end of the line, is starting to go downward. I still have so much support from all of my supporters that have stuck with me and I’m so appreciative and will forever be appreciative, but I have to get out of my plataeu that I’m back in. I have to, not just elevate, but remain elevated.

I hope that I’m not the only one feeling this way. If not, then we can both make sure we’re kicking things into high gear! The thing I love about this community is how connected we are and how we like to help each other. No one understands you like the ones who are going through the same things as you.

With that being said, it’s time to get into my goals and what I accomplished in June!

Finish media press kit and send to at least one brand. So, I didn’t accomplish this one 100%, but I did get the first half done. I was able to finish the media kit, but I didn’t have time to send it out to a brand. I’m a little nervous about doing so with this being my first time pitching to brands, but I’m excited to hopefully working with some of my favorite companies!

Wake up daily around 6:30-6:40AM. I still have some work to do on this one as well. For the most part, I did pretty good at continuing to wake up around 6:40, but I still need to work on getting up a little earlier.

  • Pitch to at least 1 brand
  • Make more connections
  • Make a business game plan


  • Wake up around 6:30-6:40AM

  1. i’ve been feeling like i need to re-evaluate some things both personally and with my blog. some things just aren’t working and i need to set some new goals.
    that’s great you got the first half of your media kit accomplished! that’s still something! and i wish i could get in the habit of waking up earlier.

    • Sounds like it’s time for us both to sit down and take time to think about what our next moves have to be. We can do it! And you can wake up earlier! You just have to work on it slowly. You can start by setting your alarm 15-30min earlier than you normally wake up and just keep doing that until you start getting a little used to it, then start setting it even earlier. It takes a lot of dedication, but it’s possible!
