*Sings* Do you know what today iiiiisss? IT’S MY BLOGAVERSARY!
We interrupt this pitiful year to bring you some joy! Guys, I have officially been blogging for two years now. How crazy is that!? Two whole years. I know this isn’t a motivational Monday post, but of course, I couldn’t go without acknowledging such a great accomplishment.
Although I said this wasn’t a motivational Monday post, it could actually be one, depending on how you look at it. So many people start blogging and then they just stop. Whatever their reasoning, it’s completely theirs and none of our business, but blogging is hard so I don’t blame them. I would’ve never thought that I would be here two years later. I never thought that TBPD would’ve turned into what it did. I have escalated into a podcast, gained some amazing blogger friends, and I have so much support.
People tell me that they love my work and they make it part of their routine to check my blog and that means more to me than anything in the world. I love blogging so much, and I hope to soon make money from it as well since this is what I want for my career. If you’ve just started blogging and feel a bit hopeless, then don’t give up. Keep it going and remember your goals and why you started. It can be hard when it seems like only two people are reading your work, but that’s two people who love what you do. Those two people will tell other people, and eventually, your two will turn to 200 and then 2,000!
Thank you so much everyone for rocking with me for two years. I pray you continue to rock with me for as long as I’m here (which I plan on being here for forever!)
Also, please remember to protest, donate, share vital information, share your black creatives, whatever it is you’re able to do to support the Black Lives Matter Movement. Thank you!
