Diary Entry #14

Dear Diary,

Yesterday was not the best day for me. I swear every little thing happened that could cause me to have a mental breakdown. From the moment I woke up, to the moment I got to work, and also while I was at work I couldn’t stop feeling down. It’s hard to keep your customer service smile going when you’re not in a great mood. Then you have to deal with the complicated customers who do a lot for something so little. As positive as I want to be on this blog all the time, I feel it wouldn’t be The Black Princess DIARIES if I didn’t share my personal thoughts. That’s what you do in a diary right? You write your own personal thoughts…except mine are shared with the world(or whoever chooses to read them). At the end of the day, it’s ok to express your emotions and show that you’re not happy all the time and hard days are going to come. I also need to remember that greater is coming. It doesn’t mean I still won’t have a day where I won’t wake up in tears for reasons I don’t understand, but still…the best is yet to come.

  1. I feel you about having bad days and low moments.

Yesterday I ended home without having my front door keys and had to wait for my other half to finish work in order to come get inside.

As I stood there in the cold I started to realise how much I hated the new city I have moved to, my job, how I miss my friends and above all being comfortable in my own space.

The more I thought about it the more I became motivated to do something for me.

So as soon as I ate the same evening I threw myself into my blogging.

This space is my space, its given me the ability to shape my thoughts and feelings into a blog post.

  2. You’ve got this, Deandra! We all have those kind of down days and they suck, but they all pass eventually. And I totally know how you feel having to work in a customer service environment on those kind of days – SUCH a drag! xx
