Christmas movies are a staple around the holiday season. From Hallmark to Lifetime, Amazon Prime, and more, there are plenty of options when finding your seasonal favorites.

With plenty of options to choose from, there should also be more representation. Being black myself, I love seeing myself represented and watching movies where black people are the main characters. Sometimes, those movies aren’t played as often as others on TV, which causes you to look them up yourself. Below are a few suggestions if you’re looking for black movies to watch, whether you’re looking for more representation or need more movies to add to your list!
