*Cue the song*
Have you ever thought about how drastically your Christmas list changes as you get older? I feel like it’s just something that just appears as obvious. I mean, as children we want all the toys and bright colored, loud objects. Once we get a little older, it’s more about a lot of technology, makeup, the hottest shoes, etc. As an adult, we still want the fun stuff, but it gets a bit more practical and toned down. I know I don’t speak for ALL adults, but for a lot of us, it does.
I thought that it would be fun to just make a little list of some things I want/need…my own grown up Christmas list. This is just a combination of things in general. Maybe you’ll agree with some of the items on my list and even decide to put it on your own.

My Grownup Christmas List
- Bigger office desk
- Workout shoes
- Bills paid for (including hospital)
- New phone
- Furniture for my apartment (when I do get one)
- Materials for my future shop
- Lounge clothes
- Insurance paid
- Personal trainer and nutritionist
- Room and office decor
- New office chair
- Books
- Rain showerhead
- Cute stationery
- Tickets to an H.E.R. concert (post-pandemic obviously)
These are just a few things I could think of. I know this post was incredibly short, but I just wanted to do something a little quick, but also interesting.
I’m curious, what’s on your grownup Christmas list? I’d love to know in the comments!
I still ask for toys sometimes 😀 But I love getting new kitchen items. Plane tickets are something I really appreciate getting – I’m really looking forward to a post-pandemic trip.
Honestly all the technology and stuff are toys for us lol. I’m sure you’re not the only one ready for a post-pandemic trip! I don’t fly, but I would love to take a road trip with my friends somewhere. Thanks for reading and commenting ♥
I think about how my Christmas list changes ALL THE TIME. And now with a kid it’s changed again, drastically! Tbh most of my extra money last month was spent on clothes and toys for her and I’m sitting here wondering why I haven’t bought myself a new hoodie since she was born lolfml.
I feel you on the new phone and bills paid. I wish more friends would take me seriously when I say “pls send money to my PayPal so I can pay my bills.” and they’re like “haha you’re so funny” bish do I look like I’m kidding? lol
Ironically my ex husband is starting an online personal trainer business. I can link you if you want.
Honestly mines changes all the time too! I think that any parent can relate to spending so much money on their child and not even replacing the basic things for themselves that are needed lol. They think this is a game but it’s not! We real life struggling out here lol! And sure! If there’s a website or anything, just send me the link and I’ll check it out!
loved this concept! I think having bills paid is such a wonderful feeling. i also love getting random kitchen gadgets and i want my walls in the inside of my house painted. it’s funny how gift lists change with age. haha
I don’t have my own kitchen space yet, but I already have rose gold kitchen items on my Amazon wishlist so I already know I’m going to enjoy getting cute kitchen items lol. It really is funny how lists change. I never thought I’d be that person but suddenly my list changed from dolls to mugs, candles, and bills that need to be paid lol
I 100% would add your items to my own wishlist. Honestly, anything to make my home and office more organized is a dream for me. New cute stationery is always necessary and I can only dream of affording a personal trainer and a nutritionist.
Have a lovely weekend,
Estée
Honestly, home decor and stationery are top tier essentials in my book! I’m glad I’m not the only one with these items on my list. Have a lovely weekend and stay safe!
My birthday is also in December and my wish list has changed quite a bit. This year I just wanted money and petrol for my car (same list for Christmas). And I wanted lots of hugs and kisses (which I couldn’t because of COVID) – however, hopefully it will be different next year.
All the best, Michelle (michellesclutterbox.com)
My birthday is actually in January, but it’s close enough lol. And honestly, if all I got was to hang around my family and friends mask free, then that would be perfectly fine for me! Wishing you all the best as well ♥
Loved ‘Furniture for my apartment (when I get one)’. Manifesting big things. And yes, you are right – our needs and wants do change as we get older and understand the world a little more. Hope you’re having a wonderful #Blogmas x
Absolutely! I have faith and will continue to put it out in the atmosphere. They definitely do, but I guess that’s all part of growing up! Thank you and I appreciate you reading and commenting ♥
