Merry Christmas Eve!

Today’s the day everyone is getting their final preparations together for the big day, aka Christmas! Everyone’s Christmas day looks a little different. Some people open their presents in the morning, some at night, and some even the night of Christmas Eve. Some people eat Christmas dinner a little earlier in the day and some eat much later. Then, of course, some don’t celebrate Christmas at all and have a routine no different than any other day. In the spirit of today being Christmas Eve, I thought it would be fun to share my day in the life on Christmas day!

7:00AM– Wake up with excitement (but also very sleepy)

7:15AM– Make breakfast and coffee (more than likely pancakes and a festive coffee)

8:30AM– Lay around and watch Christmas movies

10/11AM– Start getting ready for the day

2PM– Enjoy Christmas dinner with guests (realistically this will happen at 3-4PM)

6PM– Open Christmas gifts with family

8PM– Hide away in my room from exhaustion

9PM– Finally relax and end Christmas with more Christmas movies

Now, because I don’t keep track, these times aren’t necessarily accurate, but this is the gist of how a typical Christmas day goes for me. It can become a little tiring by the end of the day, but I love the atmosphere of the holidays that exude throughout the day in general!
