Happy winter solstice!

I don’t do them as often anymore, but I think question tags are so fun and you get to know the person answering the questions. I wanted to do another winter tag but didn’t want to repeat the same one from last year. So, in true current technology fashion, I Googled a winter tag and AI provided a list of questions that I picked from. If you’re interested in reading my answers, look at my winter tag below!

1. What’s your favorite winter drink to cozy up with? I don’t have a favorite specifically, but I do love eggnog for the festive season and a hot festive coffee.
2. What’s one winter tradition you always look forward to? Celebrating my birthday!
3. Which winter holiday do you celebrate most enthusiastically? Why, Christmas of course!
4. What’s your go-to winter outfit aesthetic? I don’t have a personal aesthetic, but I think it’s so cute when I see girls wear boots with tights, a cute skirt or shorts, a long-sleeved turtle neck tucked in the bottoms, and a fur jacket. I can picture it in my head and it’s cute and chic! It’s not as ideal for places that get much colder, but it can still work with more layering!
5. Have you ever built a snowman? Share your best snowman creation story! I did build one once years ago when I was a child, but there is no creation story. It wasn’t the best, but I was just glad that we received snow that stuck!
6. What’s the most unique winter activity you’ve ever tried? I don’t have a unique winter activity, but an activity that I think is interesting and unique is winter swimming or cold plunging. I would never do it, but I think it’s brave for those who do.
7. Which cozy movie do you always watch during the winter season? How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
8. What’s your favorite winter comfort food? I don’t eat this as often as I’d like, but I think chili is a delicious comfort food for winter!
9. How do you stay warm and cozy during the winter months? I stay warm and cozy by wearing warm pajamas, turning on the heat, and drinking a nice cup of hot white chocolate or a hot coffee.
10. How do you manage the winter blues? The bad news is Christmas is in the winter, but the good news is Christmas is in the winter! Because I love Christmas so much, it helps me to fight the winter blues that come around sometimes. I’m a spring/summer girl through and through, so dealing with the dark, cold days can be depressing. Christmas is one thing that keeps me excited, but I also try my best to enjoy the sun while it’s here.
