Happy first day of winter!

Regardless of how some may feel about the winter season, it comes every year and we all have to learn to embrace and make the best of it one way or another. To kick off the beginning of winter, I wanted to do a fun winter tag, I searched and found The Winterlicious Questions Tag that The Kat Life did on her page!

The name alone sounds so cute and fun so why not try it out and answer some winter questions!?

1. What is your favorite winter nail polish?

Red is always a classic during winter and for the holidays but I love a little sparkle with some blue and white as well.

2. What is your favorite winter lip product?

I don’t really have a favorite winter lip product. I guess I would say Carmex because that’s what I use all year round as my lip balm.

3. What is your most worn winter clothing piece?

I would have to say a sweater. I have a few cute sweaters, and even though I’m not a fan of the cold weather, I love it when I can bring them out and show how cute they look. I also love a good cropped hoodie as well.

4. What is your most worn winter accessory?

It has to be fuzzy socks! It’s either those or my fuzzy teddy bear slippers that I pull out during the colder months. They’re not only cute but keep my feet nice and warm. I have a drawer filled with long fuzzy socks and will never complain if I received more for Christmas.

5. What is your favorite winter scent/candle?

Winter Candy Apple from Bath and Body Works is my current obsession at the moment!

6. What is your favorite winter beverage?

I have two answers to this. For a noncaffeine beverage, I’d have to say eggnog hands down. For a beverage with a little kick in it, I’d have to go with the Caramel Brulee Latte from Starbucks.

7. What is your all-time favorite Christmas/holiday movie?

This is such a hard question! I’ll have to go with a classic and say How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

8. What is your favorite Christmas/holiday song?

Oh, that’s easy…All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey aka the queen of Christmas!

9. What is your favorite holiday food/treat?

Red Velvet anything will always have my heart. I even told my grandma that this year I want all the red velvet goodies…cookies, cupcakes, cake…I want it all!

10. What is your favorite holiday decoration this year?

The tree will always be my favorite holiday decoration. It’s so beautiful, especially when the lights are turned on at night. All of the ornaments sparkle in the light and I have my rose gold ornaments up again this year so they all just look so perfect! I could sit and stare at it for hours.

11. What’s at the top of your Christmas list?

I have so many things and then nothing at the same time (if that makes any sense). I wrote a mini Christmas list for blogmas day four, but the number one thing that’s truly on my list is just being able to enjoy Christmas with my mom. I know that may sound corny to some, but I don’t see her that often and I love our Christmases together. I just want the full experience of eating a bunch of sweets, blasting music, baking, and laughing from Christmas eve to Christmas day.

12. What are your plans for the holidays this year?

My plans are usually the same every year. On Christmas eve I make gingerbread houses with my mom (usually as a competition to see who does the best house), if I’m making cookies that year then we do that, and we sing carols by the tree. On Christmas day we open presents, the family gets together, and we stuff our faces with Christmas music blasting in the background!
