Christmas is in three days! How many of you still haven’t gotten your Christmas gifts? If this is you, don’t worry, I used to be the same way. As a person who struggles with procrastination, I know the last minute gift buying struggle all too well.
You’re probably wondering what in the world you’re going to do. It’s too late to order online and the stores are probably limited or close to it. I’m here to save the day once again! I got you covered with these last minute gift ideas for the procrastinating gifter!

1. Gift cards
Who doesn’t love a good gift card? I’m always down for spending money without it being my own. You can give a gift card to a specific place or just a general one that can be used anywhere. You can never go wrong with gifting a gift card!
2. Bath and Body Works
If you have been someone who gifts those lotion or bath sets from Walmart…you know what I’m talking about…then I beg of you, please stop. I’m going to be honest with you, they more than likely aren’t getting used. Even if you’re gifting something last minute, those are NEVER a final resort. Instead, make a quick stop by Bath and Body works. They’re always having sales during the holidays. Take advantage of that, get something that smells nice, and take pride in not having your money wasted.
3. A subscription
Do you know someone who shares a subscription of yours? Well, you can gift them their own! Another idea is to find out if something that they like has an available subscription service and if so, maybe get them a yearly subscription. All it takes is a click of a button (and some quick research beforehand) and you have the perfect gift ready to go.
4. Food
Who doesn’t love food? There are a few ways to go about this. You can put together a little basket of their favorite snacks, take them out to eat, or give them a gift card to their favorite restaurant. There are so many ways you can gift food. You just have to get creative!
5. A mug
I’m a mug lover, in fact, I might just have an addiction at this point. If you know someone who loves mugs just as much, then why not gift them one? You can find mugs literally anywhere. You can also add to it and pair it with a gift card or anything else you can think of.
6. Self care products
Gifting self-care products is perfect because everyone needs a little self-care. Again, you can create a basket or just a bag of self-care goodies like face masks, nail polish, bath bombs, etc. This may seem like it’s not last minute, but these products can be found in most, if not all, local stores.
7. Wine combo
What do I mean by wine combo? If you know someone who loves wine, and they have a favorite, then you can gift them that wine and combine it with another gift. Although I’m sure wine by itself is just fine for some, just like with food, I do think it’s best paired. You can pair it with a Christmas card, gift card, with the self-care basket…there are so many ways to go about it. Remember, just because it’s last minute doesn’t mean it has to have no thought in it at all.
Now that you have some ideas, let’s stop the procrastination here and head to the store!
WAIT
Before you go, comment which idea was your favorite or another idea you may have!
My husband always says gift cards are a cop out gift; I’m like really? Cause a bitch be excited to get a gift card. GIVE ME MONEY INSTEAD PLS. Like seriously lol.
Omg YES!! Like money is the best thing you can give. You don’t have to worry about returning anything because you don’t like the gift lol. Literally today one of my old managers got me an Amazon gift card and I’m already thinking about what I want to buy! Your husband will have to admit defeat on that one lol
Love your suggestions! It’s a bit late, but I’m starting to get into supporting small businesses. So a cute little knitted item, homemade soaps/candles, or designs made by an artist is not only unique, but shows you put thought into the present. I’ve recently created my own mental health shop and hope to spread positivity in that way!
It really does! I think that’s awesome! Mental health is so important, so products that promote self-care and help with mental health are always needed. I’m sure you’re doing just that ♥
Food and money are the best gifts for sure 🙂
All the best, Michelle (michellesclutterbox.com)
Absolutely! I’ll take those over anything lol
Great suggestions! Gift cards are my go-to last-minute gifts. I like when there’s a deal and I get I gift card too. This year, I was so busy I completely forgot so everyone is getting their gifts late.
That’s the best! Life definitely happens. I’m sure they’ll appreciate that you got them something no matter when they get it ♥
