Christmas is the time for giving, which means you’re spending a lot of money. Many can agree that the economy is not the best right now, which makes it harder to spend money on gifts the way they’d like.
Though not everyone has the funds to spend money on gifts, the good news is that not every gift requires money! I know it seems hard to believe, but it’s true! Below, I’m sharing a few gift ideas that require no money or very little depending on what you may need. Check out these no spend Christmas gift ideas!

Homemade Gifts
Homemade gifts are not only an inexpensive way to gift someone something, it’s also a great way to show extra effort. Homemade gifts allow you to be creative and the person receiving it will know that it came straight from the heart. Depending on what you already have in your home, this may cost a little, but it will be much cheaper than buying an expensive gift.
Cook For Them
I’m sure if asked, many people would love to have their own personal chef. If you love to cook, or at least aren’t too bad at it, give the gift of a good meal. If cooking is something you love, that’ll make it even more special. Remember to add Christmas magic for that special touch!
Gift Your Time
One of the most precious gifts of all is time. We have plenty of it and not enough all at once. One of the easiest and free gifts you can give is your time. Maybe you’ve been too busy to hang out with someone and you need to catch up…this makes it perfect! If you have a family member who has been trying to do something with you or just wants to see you, gift them your time. You can do something fun with them (something free or low cost). It will mean the world and it won’t cost you a single dollar!
Gift Something Digital
We are in the digital age, and with all this technology, it’s easy to create a digital product as a gift. With free resources such as Canva, you can create anything in a few minutes! All you need is a creative mind and a phone or computer.
Free Lessons
If you have a talent and you know someone who would like to learn what you do, why not gift them lessons? If this is something you do as a profession, you may not have the ability to give them full free lessons, but maybe a few lessons. Not everyone can afford to pay, especially in our current economy, so even a lesson or two would mean a lot and help get them started.
We may live in a world where not many things are free, but it is still possible to gift in an inexpensive and free way! Everyone deserves a way to gift just like everyone deserves a gift. I hope these ideas help you if you’re unable to spend money or at least help with inspiration for your own idea!
