Blogmas Day 11: Christmas Cocktails

Cheers to you holiday drinkers! In today’s blogmas post I’m going to give a few alcoholic beverages to help make your Christmas a little more….merry. Maybe you’re having a holiday party or just want to make a drink for yourself. Whatever the reason, you can’t go wrong with a nice holiday drink!

White Chocolate Peppermint Martini

INGREDIENTS
  • 1.5 ounces white chocolate liqueur (Godiva)
  • 1.5 ounces vanilla vodka
  • 1 ounce creme de cacao (clear/white)
  • 1 ounce half and half
  • .5 ounce peppermint schnapps
  • White chocolate syrup and crushed peppermints to garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Begin by preparing your martini glass. Rim the edge of the glass with white chocolate syrup; then dip it into crushed peppermint candies or crushed candy canes. Set glass aside.
  2. Add the white chocolate liqueur, vanilla vodka, creme de cacao, half and half, and peppermint schnapps to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and then strain into your prepared martini glass.

Salted Caramel White Russian

Makes 1 cocktail

Here’s what you will need:
1 part Salted Caramel coffee liqueur (Bailey’s or Kaluha)
2 parts Salted Caramel Vodka
1 part Half & Half (milk and cream)
Caramel sauce to garnish

In a cocktail shaker, combine the Kahlua, vodka, and half & half. Stir with a spoon to combine.

Drip caramel sauce down the side of a drinking glass. Add ice until the glass is about three quarters full; then pour in your cocktail. Garnish with a straw and serve.

White Christmas Martini

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 ounces vanilla vodka
  • 2 ounce white chocolate liqueur
  • 1 ounce white creme de cacao
  • 1 ounce half-and-half
  • Honey and coarse sanding sugar for rim garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Pour the honey into a shallow dish and put the sanding sugar in another shallow dish. Coat the rim of the glass in the honey; then dip the rim in the sugar to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.
  2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the vodka, white chocolate liqueur, creme de cacao, and half-and-half. Shake vigorously and strain into the prepared martini glass.

Jingle Juice Holiday Punch

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 bottle (750ml) Whipped Vodka
  • 1 bottle Pink Champagne or Sparkling Rosé
  • (2 liter) bottle Cherry 7-up
  • Cranberries for garnish optional
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a punch bowl or large pitcher filled with ice, combine all of the ingredients.
  2. Stir well.
  3. Serve over ice and garnish with cranberries.
