Happy May 1st to all of my readers out there!
We are officially five months down in the year and time is steadily going! The year is still young, which means that there is still plenty of time to begin goals, finish goals, or even create goals to accomplish for the year.
I have a set of yearly goals I’m working on, that you can take a look at here, and I think that I’m slowly but surely headed in the right direction for some of my goals! If you’d like to see how I did in April…keep reading!

Reach my 70 newsletter subscriber goal. Gaining newsletter subscribers is absolutely a situation where slow and steady winning the race applies, but I am not complaining! I finally reached my seventy subscriber goal, which puts me closer to my yearly goal of reaching one-hundred newsletter subscribers!
Update my podcast Instagram. If you’re following my podcast Instagram, you might’ve realized the lack of posting I do on there…until now. I’ve made it my mission to stop treating my podcast Instagram as if it was an ignored stepchild and finally put some effort into it. This will not only help it grow but hopefully my podcast as well.
Reach 2k plays on my podcast. The numbers this month are clearly booming and I couldn’t be more proud of myself and thankful for everyone who continues to support me. This now puts me closer to my yearly goal of 5k plays on my podcast, and I couldn’t be more excited to see if I reach my goal this year!
Based on the success I had in April, it looks like I’m slowly headed in the right direction. I hope to keep this up because the goal is always to move forward more than I move back. With that said, let’s look into the new goals planned for May!
Blog/Business
- Reach 300 followers on my podcast Instagram
- Do a new photoshoot
- Reach two new newsletter subscribers
Personal
- Start working out at least 1-2x per week
- Learn the days of the week, months, etc. in ASL
- Finish reading book
Regardless of how many goals I make or what I accomplish, the ultimate goal is to always move forward, even if it’s just an inch. I’m excited to see how I do this month, but I’ll always be proud of myself no matter the outcome!
How did you do in April and what are your goals for May? Let’s chat in the comments!
One of my goals regarding my blog is to figure out how to better use my Instagram too; I’ve sort of fallen out of love with it a bit but think developing a schedule will help. I wish you all the best with everything as you move forward into May!
I agree when it comes to the Instagram for my podcast. I made a separate instagram because I like to have separate spaces for everything, but it also seems like a lot. However, I’d love for it to grow as well as my business/blog Instagram has grown. I think a schedule is a great idea! I think I’m also going to work on batch creating content for it as well. I wish you the best as well and I can’t wait for the growth of your Instagram! ♥
