Affirm Your Life: Affirmations To Tell Yourself Daily

I’ve stated on here and my social media a few times now that I’ve been using what I call M.A.P. for about a year in order to do my best and make sure I’m sending in the most positive vibes I can for the life that I want. If you’ve never heard of MAP, it stands for Manifest, Affirm, Pray. I discussed it more in detail in a blog post providing tips for falling into success that you can read if you’d like.

In my most recent newsletter, I provided affirmations for a list of different categories and it gave me an idea to create an even bigger list for you all! This is also perfect as we’re about to enter into a new month and some of you may be looking for new affirmations to fit with your goals for July. Take what you need below and begin affirming your life!

Self-love

  1. Thank you for these affirmations! There are so many great ones to choose from here and I like that they are categorized. I am not in the habit of saying them regularly, but I definitely need to.

    • I actually have some work to do myself with actually saying them daily. Right now I mostly write them down and say them to myself here and there, but I want to get into the habit of saying them when I first wake up. I think that when you wake up and start your day by saying them, it’s a lot better and helps you start your day on the right foot. I’m so glad you liked my affirmations and find them useful!

    These affirmations are great, and honestly I struggle with affirmations. When I look in the mirror and tell myself that Iโ€™m beautiful, my mind keeps flipping that dialogue around. Itโ€™s frustrating. I struggle to accept compliments from people too (as if they are lying or something….), so itโ€™s definitely something I need to work on. Itโ€™s as if I think Iโ€™m not worthy of these things ๐Ÿ˜”

    One thing I do first thing after I wake up is practice gratitude. I say a little prayer in my head about the stuff that Iโ€™m grateful for. I try to focus on the now and practice mindfulness to help ground myself for that day! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’•

    • Yay! I’m so happy to hear you’ve figured it out! I completely understand what you mean because I do the exact same thing with not being able to accept compliments. I never believe it when others tell me and I’m not even one to look in the mirror to tell myself. It’s something that can be tough to fix and might need aid from a professional to fix. I know I personally need one due to all of the bullying and everything that messed with me internally. But just know that you are beautiful even if you find it hard to agree with that ๐Ÿ’•. I love that you practice gratitude when you wake up! I do the same thing when I have my silent moments in the morning where I do my bible study and write in my gratitude journal. It really does help keep you grounded! ๐Ÿ’•

  3. I love the idea of affirmations and I really should start using them. They give such a positive feeling when you actually mean it. And I definitely need to inject some positivity into my life – I usually take a more pessimistic realist POV and I’m sure that can’t be healthy in the long run. Kind of hard to turn that off though.

    • Trust me, as someone who’s more of a realist, it’s very hard to believe some of the stuff I say and I still have work to do with saying affirmations regularly. But it does make a difference and the more you work on adding them to your daily routine, the better. I definitely think you should start saying them! Maybe start with just one or two simple ones that you say daily or every other day and work your way from there. It’s hard to turn off, but it’s not impossible. I believe in you!
