The sun is out and some of us are still restless trying to find different things to do. What’s a better way to occupy your time than by trying out a new hobby!? If you’re looking for a new hobby to try this spring, look no further! Check out these six hobbies that I’ve listed below and see if you can find one that you might enjoy!

Rollerskating

Roller skating had to make it as first on the list since I actually started trying to learn how to roller skate myself. I wasn’t aware until I tried to get my hands on some skates, but it has become a big thing already since the pandemic started. I don’t blame anyone for wanting to give skating a try! It’s so fun and watching skating pros just glide outside so freely makes you want to learn how to do the same. Just make sure to get your protective gear if you decide to give it a try!
Sewing

I know what you might be thinking, but sewing isn’t just for the retired elderly! There are so many people I’ve been seeing on social media who are sewing their own clothes and making me wish I knew how to. I am talking about full-blown outfits in many different ranges. Why buy your clothes when you can step out this summer in one-of-a-kind originals made by you!?
Making candles

This is something I’ve also seen a lot of people start to do as well. Who doesn’t love a cute, nice smelling candle in their home? If you’re someone who loves to buy candles, then I definitely would suggest try making some of your own this spring. You can save some money and have fun trying out different candle molds!
Designing jewelry

Another new hobby to try is designing jewelry! I think this might actually be one of the most fun ones out of the bunch. There’s something about just getting creative with different crafts and letting your imagination run wild. The best part of doing things like this is the fact that each piece is unique. You create them the way you want and put your own personal touch on each item.
Gardening

I think the pandemic caused a lot of people to become first-time plant owners…including myself. If you realize how much you love growing plants and your living space allows, then why not try stepping it up with gardening? Personally, gardening isn’t for me, but my grandparents have their own gardens and I see how proud they are of them. I’m sure there’s nothing more rewarding than knowing you’re eating something that you grew yourself!
Bike riding

Along with skating, I think that bike riding is not only a fun new hobby to do, but it’s also something you can do with your friends and family. This is especially enjoyable when the weather is just right. Imagine just peddling through with the wind blowing through your hair…is that not majestic!? There are so many different cute bike options you can choose from or you can rent a bike. Whichever you choose, grab a bike and have fun!
What’s your favorite hobby to do in spring or even year round? Do you see a hobby that you’ve been interested in trying? If so, I’d love to know what it is in the comments. Also, if there is one, then I say try it! You never know how much you’ll end up loving it.
