I have absolutely said this a thousand times on here, and you’re going to continue to hear it, but I am HUGE on mental health! I’m not a mental health blogger, but I just advocate for it, being someone who deals with my own issues. It’s important to take little steps to help your mental health and for positive mental health. One of the easiest and quickest ways to do so is to download an app!
If you’ve been looking for an app to help promote daily positive mental health practices, then you’ve come to the right post! Below, I’m providing you with five apps that are perfect to help you!

Headspace
Headspace is an app that’s perfect if you need help or guidance for meditation! Life can be very stressful, and if you don’t learn how to properly handle or take care of your stress, it can affect your mental and physical health. Headspace teaches you how to meditate anywhere at any time which promotes more moments of calm and fewer moments of stress!

BetterHelp
I always hear people promote or recommend BetterHelp, and I love that you can not only use it online but also through an app! BetterHelp is an app that you can use for online counseling and therapy. You can get connected with a counselor or therapist to fit your certain needs, and with over 15,000 options available, you are certain to find someone that fits you! I’m huge on talking to a professional for your mental health and I highly recommend checking it out.

Presently
Presently is an app that helps to promote daily gratitude. I noticed that I needed to work on practicing gratitude more, which can be easy to forget when there’s a lot going on. So, I decided to try this app and now I use it every single day. Practicing gratitude is good to do daily, but it also helps when things aren’t going that well in the moment. As I said, it can become easy to forget the things we have, and showing daily gratitude can remind you of all the things you do have when you’re stuck on the things that you don’t have.

Mood Tracker Journal
Mood Tracker Journal is meant to do exactly what the name suggests…it’s an app to help track your mood. When you’re going through everyday life, it’s easy to ignore your own feelings or not realize your own behaviors. Tuning into yourself and how you’re feeling is trivial to your mental health. With this app, you can track your mood, write down your thoughts in a journal, and you receive daily questions to answer for reflection. I love all of those features because they all can make sure you’re aware of where you are with your mindset and mood.

InnerHour Self-Care Therapy
InnerHour is an app that provides you with self-care tools for dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, and even sleep! I think it’s amazing that we are in a time where we can have apps such as this. Now, I don’t think you should use this in replace of going to actual therapy, but I think the combination would be amazing! Some of the activities that are available on the app include self-care activities, goal setting, mood tracking, and even mental health resources.
Have you used any of these apps before? If so, did you find it helpful? If you have any other apps that you think others should try out, leave suggestions below!
Your first paragraph is so comforting to read. 💗 I’ve used BetterHelp for a while before I started with my therapist out here where I live. I liked it. It was convenient and helpful! And my counselor would always send me follow up messages which I thought was sweet!
I definitely would recommend the app to anyone!
I’m so happy to know that ♥. I hear about it all of the time lately and I’m glad that it has been so beneficial for you! I think that’s really sweet too that your counselor would do that! It really shows they care ♥
I love this! Headspace and BetterHelp have come in clutch for me in the past. I will be checking out the others as I love finding out about fun, helpful apps. Thanks!
I’m so glad to know that they’ve been beneficial for you! I hope the other apps end up doing the same ♥
Thank you for putting this list together. I have shared it. Many people need additional support at times. What better way to make things accessible that having them right on your phone.
Thank you so much for sharing! I’m so glad you enjoyed the post and I agree that things should always be accessible to others and being able to have things like those apps are perfect ♥
❤ Love this! I have used Headspace in the past but know I could benefit from the other apps listed here as well. Thanks for sharing!
