Did you know that tomorrow is International Day of Happiness? I never knew it existed until now, but I’m glad that I discovered it! It’s been a year since the pandemic started and the world became filled with chaos and tragedy. Now a year later, we’re still in a pandemic, but there’s now some form of hope forming with a vaccine being put in place.
With the world still being unable to go back to normalcy, I think acknowledging a day of happiness is what the world needs. There is so much going on that it has become easier to ignore the little things that bring us joy because they’re being clouded by all of the bad.
Although tomorrow is international day of happiness, you don’t need a special day to be grateful for all of the things that make you happy. Today, I’m sharing some of the different things that make me happy and bring me joy!
- Sunny days
- Peaceful mornings
- Talking to my mom
- Laughing with my friends
- Babies smiling
- Accomplishing a goal
- My supporters
- Being told that I’m doing a good job
- My office space
- Making an eBook sale
- Ben and Jerry’s ice cream
- Wearing cute clothes
- Receiving packages in the mail
- A clean room
- Rollerskating (despite that I’m still learning and very wobbly)
- Rose gold items
- Having my nails done
- Being able to gift my mom things
- Direct deposit
- Seeing others accomplish their goals
- Knowing that I’m loved and appreciated
That’s my little list of things that make me happy! Of course, there’s so much more, but this is just a little sample of some of them. I think it’s important to take a moment and think about what makes you happy. It helps you realize that there’s so much to be grateful for!
What makes you happy? I’d love to know what would go on your own list!
