Advice For College Seniors.

May will make two years since I walked across the stage and received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. It still feels so surreal that it’s been two years! With college students being back in school, I know the seniors are especially ready to get through the semester. One thing about being a senior is you don’t know what’s out there after you graduate. It’s like the feeling of when you graduated high school all over again. With that being said, I decided to give a short list of things I’ve learned during my senior year and after I graduated. Let me know if any of you who have graduated can relate to any of these!

1. study, study, study

2. talk to your advisor and make sure you’re set to graduate

3. get things done early

4. use your resources!

5. it’s ok to not know what you want to do after graduation

6. not going to grad school right after is perfectly fine

7. you probably should’ve taken that harder class the semester before

8. work hard so you can pass your classes, but remember, rest time is important too

9. write a list of ideas of what you could when you graduate if you are someone who has no clue yet

10. Final exams are scary as it is. You graduating is on the line. Start preparing from the very beginning and not wait until the end.

11. A job in your field isn’t guaranteed right after college…PREPARE FOR THAT.

12. College was challenging, but the real challenge is outside of those doors. Challenges you’d never expect. Face them head on. You can do it.
