June Life Update 2019

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the year is flying by. Before you know it, it’ll be December and we all will be prepping for a new year. As the year vastly approaches its end, people are working on checking off their list of goals.

Here’s a recap of my goals for June:


Typically I would go over what I’ve accomplished as well as what I haven’t, but I think I’ll just go through the goals I’ve been able to hit on. It’s important to just focus on the accomplishments and work on the rest the next go round.

Work on being more positive. I have a loooong way to go when it comes to being positive. I’m in such a weird and not so great place right now mentally so it makes it harder to put myself in such a positive mindset, but I’m working hard to wake up every day and say “today I feel great!” I’ll get there, but it takes baby steps.

Work on being healthier. I actually got a gym membership! I still have a lot to work on and a long way to go, especially with my eating habits, but this is such a big step and I’m proud of myself for making it.

Continue to work for what I want. This is something I’m always going to do. Sometimes I feel like I could work harder, but as long as I’m still blogging, podcasting, advertising, etc. then I’m working for what I want.

Interacting more on social media/in the blogging community. This one is more on the lack side, but I’m really trying my best. It’s hard for me to socialize sometimes, even on social media, because I’m introverted and a lot of my energy is sucked out of me because of the many ours of interacting with different characters (customers) at my job. I’m going to keep working though and doing the best I can because I want to support those that support me!

  1. You have a lot of goals listed here, Mama! I’m assuming you have a schedule, vision board or visible calendar that you can see daily, to help keep things in perspective and you on your toes. Some of my goals are 1) creating 2 streams of income (a lengthy process, but I’m starting), 2) getting better about my daily writing count, and 3) eating healthier. I’m rooting for you! 👍🏾😊
