The seasons and holidays may be looking a little different this year, but I think we all still deserve to have some fun. We just have to go about things differently and become a bit more cautious.
I decided to make a list of activities you can do in your own home and activities available in public as well. I know you’re probably thinking “public!?“, but these will be activities that are in open areas and allow you to safely keep your distance but still have fun! Let me know in the comments which activities are your favorite!

Activities to do at home
- Carve pumpkins
- Make fall desserts
- Camp in your backyard
- Rake some leaves…and then jump in them
- Make DIY fall decor
- Take cute fall photos in your backyard
- Create DIY fall drinks
- Have a Halloween movie marathon
Public Activities To Do
- Go to a pumpkin patch
- Go through a corn maze
- Find a spot and take cute aesthetic photos
- Go on a picnic
- Find a spot to go camping
- Go for a hike
- Go apple picking
- Shop for new fall clothing items
Have fun, be safe, and have a happy Fall!
I miss jumping in leaves – it’s mostly evergreens up here in the PNW compared to TX.
I don’t think I’ve ever been to a corn maze. I won’t have time to do it this year, but I hope I can drag some friends to try it out next year.
I didn’t jump in leaves much as a child, I remember a few times but it was fun each time. I’ve never been to a corn maze either. I think I would freak out too much lol. Thanks for reading and commenting ♥
I definitely miss going outside, but carving pumpkins and having a Halloween movie marathon are good ideas and so much fun. Great list I am going to pin this,
I don’t think I’ve ever carved a pumpkin before. I feel like I have a slight memory of doing it once, but I’m not sure. I love a good Halloween movie marathon though! I’m glad you enjoyed the post ♥
You had me at raking leaves and then jumping in them 🙂 I do that whenever I have the chance!
All the best, Michelle (michellesclutterbox.com)
I haven’t done that since I was a child, and even then I didn’t do it often, but always had fun when I did. Doing things like that really bring out the inner child and is so fun!
