  1. I had most of the toys on your list! Some of them I never got, which made me sad. Like the Poo-chi dog and the Furby. My parents refused to get me a Furby because my cousin’s Furby was very obnoxious and they got a good idea of what owning one of them would be like 😂 I had a GigaPet which was the next best thing to a Tamagotchi. When Tamogotichis were remarketed a couple years ago to Millenials, I bought one but was disappointed. It wasn’t as much fun as I remember. I also revisited some N64 games and was quite disappointed by how bad the quality was. I remember it being so awesome as a kid. What happened?? It’s as if the magic was zapped out of me as an adult. One toy that I truly loved as a kid was the Doodle Bear. I had 2 of them at one point because I played with them so much and my parents had to replace the first one. 🐻✍

    • Omg I remember the doodle bear! Either I did end up getting one or I just really wanted one, I don’t remember but those were so cute and fun! Fun fact, I still have my skip it lol. I don’t use it but it’s still chilling after all these years. Your parents should’ve gotten you the poo-chi! I loved mines so much, however, I also can say that I can’t blame them either lol

    • They were so popular! I still have my skip it lol. I haven’t used it in forever though, but it’s cool to say that I still have it.

  2. I really wanted an Easy Bake Oven as a kid. So one day me and my brother put our money together and got one from Toys R Us. We called our mom at work to tell her about our exciting purchase to which we both got bitched out and told to return it.

Literally that memory lives rent free in my head. I had never been so heartbroken.

Even to this day — 30 years later — I don’t even want an Easy Bake Oven anymore.

Plot twist is that I went to culinary school for baking & pastry and she still thought I didn’t know what I was doing with an oven.

    • Aw that’s so sad. I’m sorry to hear you went through that! I loved my easy bake oven and think every kid should enjoy it, but at least now you can bake all you want and don’t need the approval of your mom to do so ♥
